Frequently Asked
Questions
How much does Independent Living
or Assisted Living cost?
We believe in price transparency. Our price includes one fixed amount and doesn’t change with care needs. We don’t increase our price if your health declines or care needs go up. There may be slight annual increases depending on inflation and cost of living, however, there will not be a price increase if your loved one needs additional care.
Our independent living 1 BR apartments are $2750. 2 BR apartment is $3250.
Our assisted living 1BR apartments are $6000. 2 BR apartment is $7000. In assisted living, there is a $2000 fee for a second person.
One-time community fee is $500 (non-refundable).
What is the difference between independent living
and assisted living?
“Independent Living” means you rent an apartment and it includes 3 home-cooked meals per day, laundry, and cleaning services. We also take care of the lawn and maintenance. Utilities, TV, and internet are included in your rent. It is maintenance-free, stress-free living. The peace of mind is you have access to staff 24/ 7, and they check on you at least 3 times a day. We may provide additional services like assistance with meds for an additional cost.
“Assisted Living”, in addition to the above services, we provide nursing staff 24/7. We provide nursing care, including medication administration, bathing, grooming, help with daily activities, and more. In addition, we have nurse practitioners visiting and available on call. A nurse visits the assisted living often and is available on-call 24/7. We also provide PT/ OT/ ST therapy services.
We also have a robust activity program for our residents.
What training do staff members receive?
We provide continued education and training, clinical care protocols, and multiple quality assurance measures to reinforce our strong standards.
We are a couple, can we stay in the same room?
Yes! At Lake George, couples can live together in their own apartment, surrounded by their familiar belongings. A reduced fee for the second occupant applies.
Are there restrictions on visiting hours?
At Lake George, we love it when family visits. That’s why you’ll never see us restrict the times when the family or friends can come to see their loved ones. We want you to come by when it’s convenient for you and as often as you want. Bring the kids. Join us for a meal. Stay for an activity. As a family member or friend, you play an important role in your loved one’s health and happiness. A stable and caring support network is important to successful aging. And for those family members who are not able to visit as much as they’d like, we’ll gladly set up video options for you to virtually visit when convenient for you. We also provide regular updates for family to keep you posted on the wellbeing of your loved one.

In some cases, a move-in can occur in as little as a day or so.
